“The modern alternative to tabletop dressing, these woven vinyl tableMATS are available in an array of textures and colors from the warm feel of Bark to the cool look of Steel. Chilewich mats are beautiful, durable, and washable.”

Plynyl was invented by Sandy Chilewich — a nationally acclaimed designer — inventor of the Raybowl and founder of HUE Hosiery, and her husband Joe Sultan — an architect and interior designer.

Plynyl — Innovative vinyl floor coverings invented as alternatives to traditional flooring. Now available in w2w, Tile and Shag.

Plynyl w2w is a woven, vinyl fabric bonded to a soft polyurethane cushion. It’s easy to install and maintain. It’s stain and water resistant and durable. Plynyl w2w is used for residential, exhibition and light commercial applications such as offices and conference rooms. It is also used in retail and higher trafficked areas as bound floor mats.

Plynyl Tile, patent pending, also has a woven vinyl face, but is backed with a two-layered vinyl cushion. This cushion is designed to provide dimensional stability and durability required for commercial-rated tiles.

Chilewich LLC is committed to continue innovating new products for the built environment. Plynyl is only the beginning.

Plynyl is manufactured and sold by Chilewich LLC to the Trade only.

Plynyl W2W, Tile and Shag are flooring products only and have been tested and found to pass national standards for flooring. It is not sold as wall covering.
